Parenting can be most confused state in one’s life. I have been in that whirlpool  myself several times. Then at some point I realised I would take note of them so that I may not repeat or might learn something out of it over time. I brought my girls along with me because all I wanted was best and nothing less for them. I have this strong notion of building foundation right for better future. I believe Australia is most family friendly and child prioritised country. So I couldn’t have asked for more for my girls when I got this opportunity to come here to study.. I read this paper titled The global network organization of the future: Information management opportunities and challenges  authored by Jarvenpaa, Sirkka L; Ives, Blake  and written way back in 1994, when we were just about in primary school. And I must say I was awestruck by the accuracy of their prediction (they call it assumption) when we compare now. I was saying, this paper was as if written now and dated back. This is all the reason why we need to read write-ups on trends and future prediction: Check it for yourself. When we get to study in another country we also get exposure to different system. In this small post, I am going to share on my observation on the Queensland education system from what I have observed. I am not reading or putting in any extra effort to find out more rather just jotting down my own observation as I send my daughter to school every day. The first step to school always begins with admission. Initially I went to seek admission in a different school which seem little closer to our place than my daughter’s current school owing to a huge traffic we have in between our house and the latter. However, it is not how it works here. We fall under her current School’s area and that is it. We do not have to request for the seat or we do not have to say which standard our child sits in. Desi like Suja has significant meaning in Bhutanese culture. It is served only during special occasions such as religious ceremonies, promotion or while entering into new house. It is another ceremonial food item. Desi like suja  is another easy to make food of Bhutan. Ingredients: Rice  ( 3 bowl) Butter ( Unsalted butter - 100g ) Sugar (5 tablespoons) Raisins (50g) / alternatively cashew nuts can be also used Saffron (a pinch) / Turmeric (½ teaspoon) can be used as well Methods: Wash rice and add saffron in and cook- before the rice is fully cooked, when water is almost dried, add sugar and butter to it Add raisins and mix well before serving Serve hot.  

If there is will there is way is proven. If we have something experienced it by ourselves, doing anything based on our own experience is not impossible. I was a total meat lover especially beef shakam (Jerky). I felt taking meat was not good considering the sin we commit in the process. I tried to give up meat thrice in the past with this noble religious view. My religious minded friends who could successfully give up meat, tried to help me change my mind by showing various inhuman slaughtering of animals for meat. Suja is Bhutanese salty tea which is simple to make and goes well with fried rice breakfast. It has significant meaning in Bhutanese culture which is evident from it being served at every important occasion with desi (sweet saffron rice). Tea leaves of suja has to be made from different tree leaves called Neshing Jurma (parasitic plant that cruel around big tree). Ingredients: Tea leaves Butter Salt Methods: Place handful of tea leaves  in pot and add 3 mugs of cold water. Let the mixture boil Pour mixture through seep into a jar. Add 20g of butter and pinch of salt Blend the mixture well. Serve it with morning breakfast or as evening tea with snack zaw (plain fried rice).  

Although I have been using Google Drive for past decade due to their usability and more free storage than other cloud service providers. I have used OneDrive and Dropbox to play around. When it come to Basic features, both are very similar with Sharing, Backup, Offline access, Security, Collaboration as their main point for sale. Dropbox gives 2 GB of space for free account whereas OneDrive provides 5GB with QUT account. Beyond  that we need to pay monthly or annually fee depending on our need with price being in same range.  Both also use similar reward system for the referral. When it comes to free storage, none can beat google for their free account 15GB and paid account 30GB of storage. OneDrive has more options to link with other services and app from microsoft.
