How to Work From Home Productively

  1. Don't sit on your laptop all day- pick your working time carefully when you can work most productive without disturbances.I know we are starting this business so we can spend more time with our children but it is quality of quantity. 

  2. Avoid working late night- Working late night means waking up late. Working into late night when you are tired or mood being spoiled by some activities day time is not a good time to work on your important business

  3. Pack snacks ready for kids staying home just like that of school to avoid getting disturbed in the middle of the working hours. 

  4. Enjoy Morning Time, ever since I started this business, I started waking up at 4am. It is the most beautiful time of the day, I do my lower back exercise and go for 15minutes run outside and set my intentions for the day. Then I get all the stuff that is tugging at me out of the way, so I can do breakfast with the kids, school and daycare drop offs. Waking up early, getting household chores done by the time everyone left home, leaves you with your business a good amount of time.

  5. Working in blocks seems like a good idea when kids are home.  So, an hour in the morning, an hour or two when they are asleep and then a few hours after bedtime

  6. Outsource or Automate -I love using facebook schedule  and I love using google drive to keep my works in the same place. Also it will be a good idea to do grocery shopping online and automate for every week, so you don’t land up going every aisle wasting 2-3 hours at the supermarket.  Hire a cleaner if you can afford one or leave this towards afternoon when you are least productive or do it while everyone is home in the morning along with breakfast prep

  7. Get a Laptop or get used to working from smartphones, that way you can work from anywhere, while waiting for the kids to do their swimming lessons or play in the garden. At least responding to queries on your messengers can be done during such times.

  8. Shut down dot com during the weekend to be with your loved ones fully. One lovely couple in our business community say shutdown.com when they are not working on online business as fun to say it.

Suja

Suja is Bhutanese salty tea which is simple to make and goes well with fried rice breakfast. It has significant meaning in Bhutanese culture which is evident from it being served at every important occasion with desi (sweet saffron rice).
