Facebook eats my TIME!

How could I ever stop face booking and do something else which will not waste time.

Recently, I read in a paper regarding survey done on social site usage and Australia is considered
to spend more time on social sites like facebook, twitter and blog spots more than other countries but it was only 6.5 hr per month whereas
I might be spending more than that per week. So I am just thinking of doing something else in place of facebook. In nut shell, Minimise facebook usage.

Still thinking what could be most effective way to go about.

    i agree with you. facebook infact is a distraction for every office goers. i have seen my colleagues on facebook first thing in the morning.

    Now I have different perspective to social media. They are actually not at all bad if we know how to use them.

I read this paper titled The global network organization of the future: Information management opportunities and challenges  authored by Jarvenpaa, Sirkka L; Ives, Blake  and written way back in 1994, when we were just about in primary school. And I must say I was awestruck by the accuracy of their prediction (they call it assumption) when we compare now. I was saying, this paper was as if written now and dated back.
